After years of waiting for something to happen, the Grollo group took the initiative and acquired Bogong village in 2023.

The story focusses on the perennial issue of worker accommodation. Bogong Village was a solution when the major hydro schemes were created in the 1940's. It is being restored now to do a similar job, for a different clientele.
