Member Area and access to Committee Minutes and Financial position

Members have access to information that is not available to the general public. 

Broadly this is current activity of the Committee  - project information and also any other information that we do not wish to provide general access to.  Members have access to the history of the Club committee Minutes gong back to 2002, even before the formal commencement of the FCAA in 2003. 

Thus we have evidence of the work of the FCAA since inception and before!

Members have access to this via shared folder access in our Google account.   In order to have that shared access to the FCAA MEMBERS AREA,  all you need to do is have your membership entity request access.  The only proviso is that the access will only be provided to gmail email address.  

We have created a form for you to request this access.  The request access form is below this text box.  

Once we receive the request we will confirm that the request is legitimate and then provide access.  If you need to adjust your account details that is fine we can accommodate that at any time. 

This system enables us to provide you, our members with information that is provided only to you.  

Once approved, your member entity gmail address will receive an email from us advising that the folder is shared with your nominated gmail email address.  You may access the members area at any time.  You only have viewing rights,  you are not able to edit any of the material. 

The members area is effectively locked to the gmail address that you have supplied to us.   

Your access is facilitated via access to your membership entity gmail account,  not us.    We provide the access to your nominated gmail account.  Therefore there is no special FCAA password to access this area.  It is held within your gmail account. We feel that this is better for safety and security.    

What happens once you are granted access?

You will receive an email advising that you have been granted access to a new folder  - "FCAA Members area".

You access this via your gmail account. 

When you open your gmail account  - go to the Google Drive section.

Then,  look to the left of the page - you will see a tab for "Shared with me"  - click on that. You will see the newly added folder for "FCAA Members area". 

Open that new folder.

Then you will see a GOOGLE SITES icon for FCAA_Members_Area_SubWebsite.  Click on this and a new Sub website will appear.  

This Sub-website has a series of tabs with the various aspects that we are gradually populating with information just for our members.  

You only have viewing rights of any of the data included.

The information in the Members area is Privileged.

Most of the information in the members area is privileged.  Please DO NOT pass on its contents to non members.  Please do not copy any links (they wont work anyway as the folders are only linked to members) but we need to ensure that the integrity of the FCAA is maintained by you doing your bit to not send off the material we have worked hard to get - for you....

Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated.  If we identify that the data is leaking from the Members area, we shall have no choice but to remove the data from everyone's view, which is a pretty bad outcome.
